- Taking the time to sit in the front yard and just be for a few minutes
- Four (!) LBBs flitting around in the rhododendron, at least one of them a male finch, though whether purple or house, I am not sure
- A pair of cardinals hanging around the bird feeder
- Baby leaves on two roses that had looked dead
- Serviceberry blooms about to open
- The iridescence of grackle feathers
- Sunlight on daffodils

You are ahead of us. It will be weeks before our service berry is ready to bloom...but the grackles and red-wing blackbirds have returned (a couple weeks now, I think). I, too, like the iridescence of a grackle's feathers.
